The band was founded by Dougie Freeman in 2007 whilst studying jazz piano at The Guildhall School of Music in London.
In a place literally dedicated to the training of young musicians to the highest standard, there was a hunger for collaboration, experimentation and above all, playing and performing as much music as possible.
Pandora's Jukebox quickly gained popularity amongst the scene of music colleges across the city and cut its teeth performing for many of the various student events throughout the year.
It was the perfect opportunity to try things out - writing arrangements of our favourite songs and artists and crafting a sound and identity whilst meeting and playing with all of the top musicians in London many of whom were training at The Royal Academy of Music, The Royal College of Music & Trinity College of Music (as well of course as The Guildhall).
By the time the band graduated, they'd already 'gone pro' and branched out to performing at weddings and corporate events.
Since then it has just been the most wonderful journey performing at hundreds of weddings, private parties, awards ceremonies and corporate events (and a few festivals as well). Many of the original team are still regularly working with the band and are good friends as well as colleagues.
We love performing, and there is a huge amount of mutual respect amongst all of the amazing people involved. The rapport we build when performing with our audiences is such a huge part of why we do what we do. We are all about creating a fun, engaging and above all inclusive atmosphere that puts the music and quality at the absolute centre.

Having performed at hundreds of events over the past 16+ years means we have the experience and know-how to deal with even the most complex events with multiple suppliers and planners involved.
Over the last decade, we have developed a comprehensive proprietary online diary / booking system which handles all of the information from the point of enquiry through all the planning and logistics right the way up to the date of event.
Having a centralised system which serves both our clients and our band members means avoiding mis-communication and confusion. This is particularly helpful for more complex events where there are many people involved.
We have all of our own high-end sound and lighting equipment meaning we can provide the necessary production in-house which suits most smaller and medium sized events.
By production, we mean the sound and lighting (or AV as it's often known in the events industry) for the whole event.
Often this just means the PA and lighting to make the band sound and look great in each different venue we visit. Other times this means also providing additional coverage to different parts of the venue for dinner, reception. And providing microphones for speeches.
